Nice family farmhouse in an idyllic setting that offers perfectly maintained and comfortable rooms.

Pretty family farmhouse, bordered by high palm trees, in an idyllic setting with views of the surrounding mountains. The eight recently renovated rooms are perfectly maintained and comfortable. In the evening, you share your meal with the other guests in the former converted ironworks. The products come from the farm (which can be visited) and the typical Namibian cuisine. The campsite is shaded, very pleasant and perfectly equipped. Campers can eat at the farm and have access to the swimming pool.

Wunderschöne Campsite mit sehr freundlichen Inhaber! Im Gästeraum werden schöne und preislich absolute faire Souvenirs verkauft, die auf einer lokalen Initiative beruhen. Die Campingplätze sind sehr sauber, schön angelegt und verfügen über Sitzgelegenheiten und eigene Spüle/Wasseranschluss (im nahe gelegen Campinghaus sind die Sanitären Anlagen untergebracht). Preis/Leistung ist top, sehr empfehlenswerte Betrieb, vis a vis zum Duwisib Castle!

Die persönliche Betreuung durch Senior Chef Jochen war das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Durch Jochens Kontakte zum Schloss war ein Besuch möglich, obwohl es seit Corona geschlossen ist. Die Farmrundfahrt mit Sohn Christian ist beeindruckend! So erfährt man viel über die Schwierigkeiten der Tierzucht in dieser ariden Region. Der Weg zu Baron‘s view ist empfehlenswert!

Lovely place to rest or stay over, right beside the Castle. We also met the senior owner and had a nice chat about farming life. They are German speaking Namibian.

Tolle großzügige Campsite mit eigenem Toilettenhäuschen. Kleiner Pool alles sehr angenehm. Castel war geschlossen aber direkter Blick von unserer Campsite.
