Functional and with terraces, pools, bars and excellent cuisine in the middle of the dunes in Mariental.
Very nice address in the middle of the dunes: the three campsites are very functional and isolated, while the lodges are a little more aligned next to each other but have a small individual terrace overlooking the savannah or the indoor pool. The latter is shaded by large palm trees; a second pool overlooks the bush and a waterhole where you can see some antelopes drinking. Excellent meals served on a wooden terrace, nice bar. Three well-marked walking loops.

Wir hatten ein Zelt im Camp2Go. Alles gut. allerdings konnten wir uns an den Lärm der Bauarbeiter ab 7:00 Uhr in der Früh nicht gewöhnen. Essen, Service und Subdowner Fahrt top.

Zimmer etwas veraltet aber nett. Essen war ok. Das Hotel in Summe besticht durch seine Lage in der Kalahari und dem Charme

One of the best campsites during our trip in Namibia. Great location for a break between Windhoek and the Fish River or Windhoek and Luderiz. Each camping site is isolated enough from the others to have privacy. There is also a table with benches, a BBQ and a clean, comfortable bathroom with hot water. We also tried both dinner and breakfast, both buffet style, and were very satisfied with the variety and quality. The staff were very helpful and smiling: a nice atmosphere to start the holidays.

lots of scorpions here. We were having a BBQ at 7pm and we came across 4 scorpions.
