Wir hatten ein Zelt im Camp2Go. Alles gut. allerdings konnten wir uns an den Lärm der Bauarbeiter ab 7:00 Uhr in der Früh nicht gewöhnen. Essen, Service und Subdowner Fahrt top.

Zimmer etwas veraltet aber nett. Essen war ok. Das Hotel in Summe besticht durch seine Lage in der Kalahari und dem Charme

One of the best campsites during our trip in Namibia. Great location for a break between Windhoek and the Fish River or Windhoek and Luderiz. Each camping site is isolated enough from the others to have privacy. There is also a table with benches, a BBQ and a clean, comfortable bathroom with hot water. We also tried both dinner and breakfast, both buffet style, and were very satisfied with the variety and quality. The staff were very helpful and smiling: a nice atmosphere to start the holidays.

Ein Ort im Niemandsland. Großzügig und geräumig.
Das Essen ist teuer und qualitativ mittelmäßig, für die Nutzung des Swimmingpools müssen Kinder und Erwachsene bezahlen (auch als Aufsichtsperson) und im Souvenirlädchen kann man tolle Sachen zu überteuerten Preisen entstehen.
Aussenanlge mit Schatten und viel grün.

The food is expensive and mediocre in quality. Children and adults have to pay for the use of the swimming pool (even as supervisors) and in the souvenir shop you can get great things at overpriced prices.
Outdoor seating area with shade and lots of greenery."

Eine super Lodge in der Halbwüste Kalahari. Hier ist die Natur so wie sie sein sollte. Ruhig und friedlich. Der rostrote Sand begeistert. Sehr viele Tiere.

Schöne Lodge in der "Nähe" zu Windhoek. Zimmer waren sauber und das Personal freundlich. Es werden einige Aktivitäten angeboten.

Diese Lodge war unser erstes Anlaufziel in Namibia. Schon die Einfahrt zur Lodge war toll und wir haben die ersten Impalas und Warzenschweine gesehen. An der Rezeption wurden wir herzlich Empfangen. Unser Zimmer war eines in den Bungalowartigen Gebäuden, die in einem U angeordnet sind. Unsere Terasse war mit Blick auf den Pool.
Das Essen war sehr gut, die Sundowner Tour war Klasse, unser Guide Alfonso war sehr nett und hat alles gut erklärt. Auf der Tour konnten wir viele Tiere sehen. Alles in allem eine wirklich tolle Lodge.

An amazing stay at a beautiful lodge. The staff are extremely kind, making every effort to help. We loved the sundowner game drive - a true highlight of Namibia. Big thank you especially to Collins for his warmth and kindness throughout. Highly recommend!

Ottima posizione. Buona cucina. Ottimo servizio. La camera dov'ero io era un pò piccola, non sò le altre. Ci sono 2 piscine. C'è ossibilità di usare delle biciclette per girovagare i dintorni. Hanno posizionato 2 pozze dove vengono ad abbeverarsi gli animali, una delle quali è appena fuori la sala ristorante.

Größere Lodge mit über 50 Zimmern in Bungalow Charakter. Ein Haupthaus mit Rezeption und Restaurant, daneben ein Gebäude mit Bar und Küche. Alles schön um einen Pool angeordnet.

Amazing spot for sundowners and good food

It was the first stop of our namibia trip two weeks ago. The rooms, pool and view are nice and we liked that they are hiking routes. The dinner was great, whilst for breakfast we missed any sweet things to put on bread (eg honey, marmelade) and the fruit salad only contained apples. We especially liked the game drive in the evening with drinks & snacks.
The reason why we only give a three Star Review overall is the (mostly) unfriendly staff und terrible service in the restaurant. A few examples: we had breakfast outside and had to ask three times until someone opened the umbrella for us - the waitress didnt even answer us, in the end i was even saying „thank you & sorry for bothering you“ (still no answer from her). Our table was also missing cups - so After not getting any after asking two times i got myself some tea in a glass. A waitress approached me „you need to get it in a cup“ - she promised me to bring me one which never happened. At the second evening we didnt order any drinks because we finished the wine bottle from the night before - after stating that the waitress ignored us for the rest of the evening and we were not even able to order soft drinks. They are many more examples - we did not experience this low level of service at any other place.

One of the best lodges and honestly with the best food we have ever had at any lodge so far. The chefs are really amazing. We stayed at the self-catering part of the lodge, big bathroom, showers and room. Everything you need is there. Fridge, cutlery, crockery. The beautiful red dunes are right outside your door. Highly recommend.

oasis au milieu du désert de sable rouge
Très bel endroit, les chambres dans de petits bungalows sont très jolies et confortables, le buffet est excellent, les animaux se promènent autour du lodge, les activités sont très chouettes (sundowner vraiment agréable, on voit pas mal d'animaux et on termine par un apéro face à un superbe coucher de soleil) et l'accueil est parfait!

Une halte parfaite avant de visiter la réserve du Kalahari
Bon accueil à l'arrivée. Les chambres sont confortables et en retrait du restaurant. Un jardin fait de pelouse et d'arbres fait face aux chambres. Ce qui permet d'admirer les animaux sauvages qui viennent brouter la nuit . Du restaurant on peut apercevoir derrière les baies vitrées le paysage semi désertique et les animaux sauvages qui viennent s'abreuver à une source aménagée pour eux.
Les chambres sont propres, confortables et bien équipées. La literie est excellente. Il y a même une moustiquaire .

excellent stop over entre le sud et Windhoek
Etablissement très bien tenu ;nous avions un des emplacements de camping ,très bien aménagé et isolé ,confortable(sanitaires privés ,terrasse avec table et barbecue )

Dès le parking on sait que l'on ne sera pas tout seul ! Super ets accueil sympa on vient prendre les bagages que l'on vous porte jusqu'au bungalow qui se trouve devant la piscine (l'autre est à l'arrière).Chambre comme il faut ,sdb luxueuse.Il faut être de bonne heure au restau si on veux un peu de tranquilité.Buffet hallucinant!Il y a de tout ! boutique aussi à la réception .Animaux en liberté autour ,vue imprenable sur le coucher de soleil .Mais c'est notre dernière nuit en Namibie .L'une des plus belles

Tout prés de Mariental, petite "maison" avec terrasse, nôtre première étape avant le Kalahari et premières "rencontres" avec la faune locale. Sur la route de Fish River Canyon. Très jolie structure.
Super lodge in the heart of the red dunes of the Kalahari. Beautiful range drive to do in the area. It is a recommended for all that go towards the south and Fish River Canyon!
