The archaeological site of Tipasa is a Unesco World Heritage Site. It has a unique collection of Roman, Phoenician, Paleochristian and Byzantine vestiges that testify to the importance and wealth of the ancient city. The archeological site which extends over 70 hectares in an enchanting site plunging into the sea invites you to take a walk for a few hours. An essential step not to be missed if you are in Algiers. We recommend that you hire a guide (French-speaking) so that you don't miss anything about the rich history of the place.

Open every day from 9am to 5pm during in winter and from 9am to 8pm in summer. Admission: DA100. Guided tour possibles: ask for information with the museum. The guards of the archaeological site will have also a pleasure of giving you indications (small welcome tip).
