The Wisteria centre was created by Father Henri Teissier in 1966 for the nuns living in Algeria. Also attended by clergy, it also hosts Algerian and foreign researchers whose work focuses on Algeria and the Maghreb. It has a library, a learning centre for Arabic dialectal and tamazight and offers accommodation to researchers. Regular organization of lectures, training courses and activities.
