MILK BAR
A stroll through the center of town inevitably takes you past this piece of memory, which hasn't changed much. On September 30, 1956, the Milk Bar was the target of the FLN attack that made the biggest impression on people during the so-called "events". Since then, the Milk Bar has become more of an ice cream parlour and tea room than a real bar. Despite its lovely terrace overlooking the square, the establishment is poorly managed and understaffed. A place we recommend more for its history than for its service and cuisine.
