One of the major actors of the Algerian cultural life. Conferences, exhibitions, screenings, concerts, shows, theater, dance, literary meetings are on the program all year long. The French Institute of Algiers also houses a media library and a brasserie-library, a convivial space open every day from 8 am to 6 pm (except on Fridays). A peaceful place for a cultural break, just to read or (too bad) to work during your vacations.
