The castle was built on a prehistoric refuge and, from the th century, became one of the advanced bastions of Savoy for conquest of Valais. Burned in 1475 by the Bernese, it was rebuilt shortly afterwards. In the th century, it was acquired by the town of Eagle. The th century square dungeon houses several wine rooms, including the municipality hall or the Garde Hall. You can also visit the Tithe House and the International Museum of the Label, which brings together more than 150 000 pieces from all over the world (52 countries represented).

Château d'Aigle

Impressionnante bâtisse qui surplombe la ville d'Aigle. La vue est superbe sur les vignes et les montagnes. La visite est intéressante et il y a la possibilité de visiter le musée de la vigne, du vin et de l'étiquette.
