A magnificent white building with light gray shutters, this 4-star hotel comprises a main building and pavilions dating from the ^18th, ^19th and ^21st centuries. In 1863, it housed the world's very first hotel school, which has since been moved to the north of the city. The style of the rooms reflects the different stages in the hotel's construction: traditional, with exposed beams, or contemporary, with designer furnishings. A partner of the Beau-Rivage Palace, it offers privileged access to the heated outdoor pool, tennis courts and Cinq Mondes spa.

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff is amazing. The breakfast was excellent. Enough choices to power up my day.

Was attending a course at IMD, less than ten minutes walk away so location was very convenient. Love the fact that umbrellas were made available for rainy days.

Rooms were super comfortable with everything required for a relaxing stay. Had a massage that was arranged easily and conveniently too!

Overall, happy to have chosen Angleterre & Residence!

Super Hotel an sich mit toller Lage und Erreichbarkeit (Endstation M2 Ouchy-Olympique). Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer gegen den Innenhof. Das Zimmer war geräumig und war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten (Kaffeemaschine, Föhn, genügend Duschmittel etc.). Was super toll war, dass die Minibar zur freien Benutzung war (ja, Getränke gratis bzw. Inkludiert.). Sauber war es auch und das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel an einer tollen Lage.

Nous nous sommes rendus moi et ma compagne au restaurant, café, hôtel de l’Angleterre. Magnifique journée ensoleillée, nous avions envie de profiter d’une terrasse. Hélas, nous avons été refusé parce que ce soi-disant une partie de la terrasse était fermé alors que des clients consommer. Notre heure de passage était de 14 heures.
Pourquoi ? Pas envie de travailler ? Vous avez atteint votre chiffre d’affaires ? Je ne serai peut-être jamais la réponse. En tout cas une chose qui est sure, nous remettrons plus jamais les pieds comme nous étions là, malvenu.
