Always a safe bet, the Best Western hotel chain has invested in the Hôtel Mirabeau, built in 1911. Some of the rooms overlook the lake, and the hotel boasts a magnificent terrace under the chestnut trees. The building has retained a beautiful allure, with its Art Deco architecture dating from the beginning of the last century. The rooms are very comfortable, bright and well soundproofed, the service is good and the hotel offers good value for money.

A short walk from the train and metro stations. Nice Art Nouveau / Art Deco interior. My room was quiet, spacious, wall-to-wall carpeted, with a proper desk and a big bathroom (and bathtub). The lobby restaurant is renowned; some people travel from out of town just to have dinner there. Up the road there are pleasant Lebanese and Thai eateries. Overall, a luxury experience.

Bravi, gentili e disponibili. attenzione al turista da parte della reception. complimenti alla ragazza in stage ed al receptionist di Torino. Attenti ad assisterci nelle visite ai musei, nella prenotazione delle cene e nel raccontarci la vita in Svizzera. Bella Losanna ed i suoi abitanti. Grazie
