Inaugurated in 1910, the Hôtel de la Paix was the first luxury hotel of its era to be built in the center of town, just a few meters above Place Saint-François, with an unobstructed view of the lake and the Alps. Like the other establishments built at the beginning of the last century, it attracted a wealthy clientele. The comfortable, well-soundproofed and bright rooms, with their classic design, offer good value for money. As always, the rooms on the lake side and the terrace offer a sublime view, especially when they have a balcony!

Good hotel ???? in a great location. We had a lake view but it was cloudy ⛅️ There is public transport nearby.

Nice roomy corner room with lake view.
There were tub and large shower room
but beds were two singles. Amenities were minimal. Location was good and walking distance to cathedral
