These are beautiful, tastefully decorated, cosy apartments, recommended for longer stays since we only take reservations for a minimum of four days. Everything you need to make this a base camp is here: flawless comfort, bright rooms, equipment, location (next to the station, in the heart of a lively district), quality of welcome, peace and quiet... The design of the apartments, with their blond wood floors in pearl grey, anthracite and white tones, is warm and elegant. You can even let off steam in the gym.

On booking they mentioned the refurbishment was supposed to be active until end of July, instead it went through august too, the service was negative. Builders where outside our balcony and we didn’t have PRIVACY AT ALL

A real gem in the heart of Lausanne.

The location is superb.
+ A lot of places to eat (not just restaurants)
+ nearby Coop/Denner/Migros
+ Public transport hub

Staff is very responsive.
Apartment and amenities look and feel brand new.

I stayed at Base for a month for business travel, and had a wonderful experience with no issues. Cédric and the staff are extremely helpful and responsive, and wanted to make my stay as comfortable as possible. It is a quiet and well-maintained building, and the location is perfect in the Grancy neighborhood (6 minute walk to the train platforms, 15 min walk to Ouchy, 2 min walk to Parc de Milan, close to metro, 7 min walk to Coop grocery, 2 min walk to restaurants).
I would recommend Base to anyone traveling on leisure or vacation!
