The Brasserie de la Riviera, formerly the Café de la Gare at the end of the 19th^century, is the only restaurant in Ouchy to have retained its authenticity. Since March 2012, the place has been refurbished, but regulars have insisted on keeping the furniture that gives it that old-fashioned bistro spirit! Traditional brasserie cuisine is served, but unfortunately it doesn't always live up to the surroundings. The welcome is also rather cold, perhaps because the clientele is mainly tourists. A bistro to match, a bit old, with a spruce decor which makes you want to stay a moment to read the guide and prepare the suite of the trip while enjoying a beer. When the evening fell, was just delicious to continue the evening with a quickly served fondue. You will get there during our stay!
