Overlooking the shores of Geneva, the Castle of Coppet is a private residence acquired in 1784 by Jacques Necker, Minister of Finance under Louis XVI. Her daughter, Madame de Staël, exiled by Napoleon Bonaparte, made it a European exhibition where we were discussing the great problems of the time. We will appreciate the living atmosphere in this castle, thanks to the furniture of the th and th centuries.
