PLACE DES NATIONS
Here, we're at the heart of a Geneva open to the world. This district is home to numerous international organizations: the UN, of course, the UNHCR, the ICRC, the WTO, the ILO, the WIPO and many others. At the center of the square is the work of Geneva artist Daniel Berset: Broken Chair (1997), a giant chair with part of one of its legs amputated, a symbol of the fight against anti-personnel mines, erected by Handicap International. Opposite the square, the imposing entrance to the Palais des Nations is preceded by an aisle lined with the 193 flags of the member states.

Certes, les drapeaux de (quasi ?) tous les pays du monde valent déjà le déplacement, mais la broken chair géante également. Mes enfants étaient très intrigués ! :)
