PARC DES FRANCHISES
Located on the western edge of the town, this property belonged to Edmond Vaucher. In 1887, he created the former horticultural school. One of the city's finest rose gardens was established here in 1946, with over 7,000 plants from the international new roses competition, an arboretum of rare species and a small botanical garden. The 6-hectare park also boasts a large play area with a paddling pool and skateboard track. The green spaces and environment department has established a wetland biotope, one of the largest in the canton.
