On the right bank of the Rhône, at the end of the Quai du Seujet, after the Pont Sous-Terre bridge, this garden provides access to the pleasant pathway of the Saint-Jean cliffs. Built around the remains of a former Benedictine priory, it echoes Geneva's rich religious past. Founded in the Middle Ages, the ruins of this priory were unearthed in 1969. According to the Vie des Pères du Jura, it was here that Saint Romain cured two lepers living in a nearby cave.
