The Kirchner Museum is a building of remarkable architecture. Inside are works by the painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. It is the world's largest collection dedicated to this German Expressionist, who fell under the spell of Davos in 1917 and remained here until his death in 1938. The Kirchner Museum in Davos offers visitors the exceptional experience of imagining the artist at the very place of his creation, through different eras.

It was built in 1481, especially for its choir, with the stained glass windows Giacometti.

This complex at the top of the Schatzalp mountain is served by a funicular railway which leads to two toboggan runs, one of which is illuminated (in colour!) at night. Sledges can be hired directly from the funicular, which is open in summer and winter with two different types of slopes and sledges. Some blue and red ski runs in winter are also available with the funicular as a lift. The panorama hotel-restaurant at the top is an excellent address for lunch with a sublime view of the Davos mountains.
