B2 HOTEL ZURICH
A real jewel in the city, it is one of our favourites! Built over a hundred and thirty years ago, the imposing building housed the Hürlimann brewery (the largest in Switzerland in the 1880s) before being converted into a splendid boutique hotel by the renowned architect Ushi Tamborriello. The treasure of the place is the Wine Library (part lounge, part bar, part restaurant): under a ten-metre-high ceiling, the walls are covered with a library of 33,000 books from which hang huge chandeliers made of Hürlimann beer bottles.

The rooms are spacious and confortable. I was not a fan of the curtain being the only way to have some privacy in the bathroom/shower.
Breakfast is a highlight with a lot of variety and is served in the library on the ground floor which by itself is a great site.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
