B2 HOTEL ZURICH
A real jewel in the city, it is one of our favourites! Built over a hundred and thirty years ago, the imposing building housed the Hürlimann brewery (the largest in Switzerland in the 1880s) before being converted into a splendid boutique hotel by the renowned architect Ushi Tamborriello. The treasure of the place is the Wine Library (part lounge, part bar, part restaurant): under a ten-metre-high ceiling, the walls are covered with a library of 33,000 books from which hang huge chandeliers made of Hürlimann beer bottles.

We stayed for 6 nights on an extended business trip, but did manage to use the spa regularly, which is also exceptional.
The whole atmosphere in the main dining/lounge area is unique, a grand library.
We will return.
