Ideally located in the heart of Zurich, this bar-restaurant boasts a small, dark wood-panelled room that was once overrun by student guilds. A beam serves as an admission test: you have to pass over it without spilling your glass (of beer). The room exudes a warm ambience, perfect for sampling some of the restaurant's specialties: Zürich-style schnitzel and rösti, fillet of salmon from the Swiss Alps... For dessert, homemade sorbet and chocolate mousse to die for. Pleasant service. Reservations recommended.

Die kleinen, gemütlichen Gaststuben mit viel Holz versetzen einen in eine längst vergangene Zeit. Das Restaurant ist so einladend und gemütlich, man möchte am liebsten gar nicht mehr gehen.
Als Gast wird man behandelt wie ein König. Freundlich, aufmerksam, authentisch... kurzum gesagt einfach nur sympathisch.
Das Essen passt zum Ambiente. Währschafte Zürcher Küche, schön angerichtet, grosse Portionen und das Züri Gschnätzlets ist definitiv in den Top 3 von Zürich.
Reservation ist dringend empfohlen, ein Besuch in der Oepfelkammer auch :-)
