Went there for a special occasion, we ordered a Cheval Blanc 1997 (Nice) but unfortunately dishes too buttered, veal ravioli drowned in emulsion, poorly presented. The team is professional but nothing more, no warm welcome. Really disappointed by the food, too expensive. Will come back if menu gets closer to the Michelin Star they have ????

Exceptional experience. I was greeted with a complimentary dish from the chef. (I apologize, as I do not remember the name of the dish. Only that it was delicious). The warm bread they bring to the table is so soft in the inside with a nice crust in the outside. And the two butters they bring are amazing; one being a fruity infusion that was a really nice treat to go with every bite. The chef then gifted us with a couple of different macaroons that were so uniquely flavored that you have to experience to really appreciate. For my starter I had the pulled crab and Gillardeau oyster. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was next level. So much going on in every bite with the crab, and the oyster was a mouth full of such a unique blend of ingredients that made your eyes roll. Both were incredibly fresh. My friend had the veil shank ravioli, and made me quite jealous, actually, because of how absolutely delicious it was. The sauce was so savory and buttery. The one bite I had was an absolute tease. I had the A5 Kagoshima waygu for my entree, and words can't describe how amazing it was. The sauce that was drizzled over it was so decadent and savory and paired so well with the tender buttery meat. Every bite was heaven. I had a sorbet dessert combination that was a blend of citrus flavors that just exploded with flavor, and shocked you pallet after all of the savory dishes during the meal. Not overly sweet, and the perfect portion to end a perfect meal. A well deserved Michelin Star. The servo was exceptional, and the ambiance was such a great setting for such a meal. I was sat right by the window overlooking the city. I can't recommend this place enough.

The food was OK but nothing special, so totally overrated. You can eat much better in Zürich. But the service was great. regarding the atmosphere, it’s really very old fashion style… we were definitely the youngest couple there. There was no music and not really a nice vibe. we had each three plates and one glass of wine and paint Fr.450.

We had a 3-gang lunch. I was surprised by the quick service, that suits business lunch. Every plate was tasty and nice presentations. I personally like cream sauce on the veal, but the soup was slightly too rich and thick for me.
The servers were all friendly and professional. We will definitely come back.

Ein Michelin ⭐️hat das Schöne Restaurant.
Von aussen schon sehr schön anzuschauen. Direkt am Ufer des Flusses und in der Innenstadt. Das Restaurant ist durch das Holzgebälk schön anzusehen. Gute Aussicht für den Sommer wenn es wieder schöner wird. Nettes Personal das sehr freundlich ist.
Nur die Lampe in der Mitte vom Saal … sollte mal den Abdeckring wieder neu befestigen.

Das Essen ist etwas ganz anderes. Extra fein, Geschmacksrichtung mal anderst.
Lecker und der Nachtisch war eine tolle Dekoration an verschiedenen Süssigkeiten.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, von Dominik bedient zu werden, und ich möchte meine aufrichtige Wertschätzung für seine hervorragende Servicequalität zum Ausdruck bringen. Seine Professionalität, Höflichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber den Gästen haben meinen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Restaurant zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Seine Kenntnisse über die Speisekarte waren beeindruckend, und er konnte uns bei der Auswahl der Gerichte ausgezeichnet beraten. Seine freundliche und positive Einstellung hat die Atmosphäre im Restaurant noch angenehmer gemacht. Es war deutlich zu spüren, dass er seinen Job mit Leidenschaft ausübt und echtes Interesse daran hat, dass die Gäste eine großartige Erfahrung machen.

We had the tasting menu with the A5 Waygu add on.

Most of the food in Switzerland is either too bland or too salty. This meal was unfortunately consistent with that.

The service was outrageously slow on all accounts and the meal was poorly coursed. They neglected to refold napkins when we stood up for a WC break.

The best dish was the oyster with an elegant green mignonette. All of the other seafood dishes were poorly executed — fish was bland, lobster bisque was unappetizing, and the crab was fishy.

The tortellini was terrible — pasta texture was unpleasantly hardened and the taste was completely overpowered by salt, butter, and cheese.

The Japanese A5 was unfortunately over dressed and accompanied. It’s an offense to the cow — cooked correctly, this meat deserves to shine on its own.

The menu was trying too hard with too many off balance flavors and textures.

The wine was great, which is to be expected as table stakes.

I’m consistently disappointed by the lack of discernment of the Michelin star program — maybe it was better last year when it was awarded?

Great food and fantastic service in a quiet place with a unique riverside view. The tasting menu is a colorful and joyful ride to flavors and textures. It will take you from salty to smooth taste to deep and robust notes, with the finale of fresh sorbet and Swiss chocolate.

Excellent Michelin 1 star restaurant; food is a bit pricey (65 Swiss francs for a two course set lunch). Great views of the Limmat River from your table.

Von dem Moment an, als wir La Rôtisserie betraten, wussten wir, dass wir etwas Besonderes erwarteten. Der Service übertraf unsere Erwartungen bei weitem - er war mehr als ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war extrem freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, was den Abend noch angenehmer machte. Unsere Wassergläser waren zu keinem Zeitpunkt leer, was die Sorgfalt und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals zeigt.

Das Essen war nichts weniger als sensationell. Wir entschieden uns für das komplette 7-Gänge-Menü, und jedes Gericht war ein Meisterwerk. Es war genau das, was man sich von einer gehobenen Küche erwartet. Da ich persönlich kein Fan von Reh bin, wählte ich stattdessen das Wagyu. Obwohl es mir persönlich ein wenig zu wenig Fleisch war, muss ich zugeben, dass es das beste Fleisch war, das ich je gekostet habe.

Ein besonderer Moment des Abends war, als ein Kellner uns fragte, ob wir etwas zu feiern hätten. Nachdem ich ihm erzählt hatte, dass wir unseren Jahrestag feiern, überraschte uns das Restaurant mit einer kleinen Aufmerksamkeit und einer Wunderkerze - eine Geste, die unseren Abend noch unvergesslicher machte.

Insgesamt war unser Besuch bei La Rôtisserie eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um einen besonderen Anlass zu feiern oder sich einfach etwas Gutes zu gönnen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

I ve visited many restaurants around already, but this one made it to the top. The dishes are not only beautifully prepared, the food was full of flavor and very delicious. The service was attentive and reacted quickly, as soon something was finished. That was a big plus for us. The chocolate desert was my personal highlight. The price was the same than in other restaurants. But the quality was higher, so we definitely recommend.

Ein Erlebnis der Extra-Klasse! Service durchgehend sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr professionell. Die Speisen (-> Gourmet Menu auf Empfehlung des Chef) mit Weinbegleitung ist ein Gedicht für das Auge wie den Gaumen. Zu einem persönlichen Anlass auch einen tollen Tisch bekommen mit Blick auf Zürich City. Sehr genossen, gerne wieder.

The place is very beautiful. Service is amazing and the food wonderful! You should try the 2 courses duck plate . I will go again. (After the dinner we had a perfect Old Fashioned at the Cigar lounge. It was the best way to end the night)

We had an amazing dinner experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the duck for two persons, and it was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We were seated on the terrace with a lovely view of the river. By far, dinner here was our best food experience in Zurich. Would love to come again.

Einmalige Lage. Im Sommer super Terasse. Gerichte perfekt zubereitet. Auch Zürcher Klassisches dabei und gute Auswahl an Weinen. Schade muss man Kreditkarte hinterlegen. Wenn ich buche gehe ich.

Essen ist immer ein Genuss, aber das Preis Leistungsgefälle ist nicht mehr ausgewogen!
