MUSEUM OF PREHISTORY - MUSEUM FÜR URGESCHICHTE

The Kantonales Museum für Urgeschichte or the Museum of Prehistory in Zug opened its doors in 1997 and was expanded in 2003. This young institution recalls the everyday life of the time, with life-size scenes and numerous models of settlements, all made clearer by texts. The exhibitions retrace the six important periods of history, from the Paleolithic to the High Middle Ages, through an interactive tour.
