Hans Erni, one of Switzerland's most famous artists and native of Lucerne, has worked on numerous myths and legends of Pilate. He éternisés them in the rocky gallery of Pilatus Kulm, in what he dubbed the "Dragon Path", because in the Middle Ages the Popular Beliefs attributed this place to the dragon's lair. Below the Oberhaupt River is a 500-metre long gallery, directly carved into the rock, which offers spectacular views.
