Former deep-sea trawler Jacques-Louise, listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments, is currently under restoration.
The Jacques-Louise is a former deep-sea trawler: its epic is part of the great post-war period of offshore fishing, when the sailors of the sea left for several days at sea. Decommissioned in 1991, it was bought by the Friends of the Jacques-Louise association, before the city acquired it in April 2021. Listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments, it is currently being restored. You can see it in the commercial basin.

Une visite-hommage à ne pas négliger; c'est assez court, mais les marins à bord ne sont pas du tout avares de commentaires et d'anecdotes, malgré les travaux en cours (il y a toujours à faire à bord pour entretenir ou réparer un bateau); accueil charmant, avec en prime leur fierté d'avoir réussi à préserver ce bâtiment et le faire classer. Attention, c'est un vrai bateau, avec de vraies échelles de marins, les montées et descentes peuvent être un peu raides si l'on a pas l'habitude (et attention à ne pas se cogner la tête!).
We went in July, they are nice but visiting is too short in my opinion.
