LES FOULÉES DE LA PRESSE DE LA MANCHE

It is a tradition that has never lost its success. Every November 11, while French cities are generally dull on this holiday, Cherbourg comes alive and gathers for the Foulées de la Presse de la Manche. Throughout the afternoon, numerous foot races are organized, following a route through the streets of the city center: thousands of participants are counted. Enough to forget the often gray weather of this autumnal day!
