FEMMES DANS LA VILLE

Every year in March, the city of Cherbourg honors women for almost ten days during the Femmes dans la Ville festival. The event, which aims to promote equality between men and women, offers many events: theater, music, screenings, meetings with actors in the promotion of equality, various debates ... Another highlight: the race (or walk) La Cherbourgeoise - reserved for women, of course - and whose registration fees are donated to charity.
