Now located in the port of Cherbourg, this famous restaurant offers original, fine cuisine, prepared with flair and talent.
This is the city’s gastronomic reference, facing the outer harbour and offering a panoramic view of the ballet of boats. Sober, chic, with subdued lighting and an open kitchen, this is a very upmarket restaurant. Each season has its own menu, and Pierre Marion makes it a point of honour to cook only the products of the moment, and first and foremost seafood. You can choose between two menus (Violette and Janne) in 4 or 6 courses - with wine, even better. The plates are regal and works of art. Service is impeccable.

- les sauces prennent le dessus sur le produit pour plusieurs services (la mayo wasabi sur le saumon, la sauce hollandaise sur la st jacques)
- tous les services sont quasi équivalent en quantité, on a jamais vraiment l'impression de manger le plat principal (en l'occurrence la st jacques en cette saison, qui était à l'unité dans l'assiette..)
- personnellement chez un étoilé je cherche un peu plus de surprise et originalité, pas juste que ce soit parfaitement cuisiné
