Impeccably located just behind the Savitsky Museum and not far from the city's central market, this hotel is spread over three levels, including an attic, and offers spacious rooms, all of which are very comfortable and beautifully decorated with local crafts. All rooms are equipped with good quality bedding, cable TV, air conditioning and wifi. The hotel's restaurant, Marta's Kitchen, offers national and fusion dishes, as well as a hearty and fresh breakfast with homemade pastries! Best map in town.

We are faced with a dilemma: Hotel, does not correspond to our category "Good and cheap" (it is really not good but expensive), or to the category "Comfort or charm" (it is particularly uncomfortable and has absolutely no charm). However, this is the hotel to which you will be turning, because it is in the middle, and there are always rooms. As a good heir to Soviet hotels, it has not been renovated for years, hot water is a luxury, water short is not guaranteed, beds are at best uncomfortable, the worst broken and the whole is dirty. Not forgetting that the staff is kind as a prison door and the rates are high. In short, it dépannera you if you have no other solution.

The Rahnamo Hotel is clean, spacious and fairly new, but it is still a very expensive place to stay. Especially if you have not taken the precaution of booking through an agency and the tourist rates are not negotiated. Even then, the rates do not go below $100, which is far too expensive. But if you have spent a week wandering around Karakalpakstan or taken the time to visit Moynaq and the shores of the Aral Sea, you will certainly be happy to find real bedding and plenty of hot water. Sometimes it's priceless!
