The IFEAC hosts specialized students and researchers on Central Asia. You can find many books (including the Central Asian Notebooks) and published theses on Uzbekistan. If your stay continues in Tashkent and you want to know more about the country, its history and culture, the library is in free access. The staff is very welcoming but obviously not to welcome tourists, so respect the work of researchers during your possible work.

In Tashkent, as in the country as a whole, many pharmacies are more or less well supplied (in Uzbek: dorixona, in Russian: apteka-аптека). To find out where the nearest pharmacies are available 24 hours a day, please contact your hotel.
