Take the road alongside Madrassah Koukeldach and turn into the first alley on the left. This alley leads to a sort of courtyard. This leads to a covered hall where you'll find all the shops selling fabrics, tailoring and tchapan, the traditional Uzbek coat. At stand 10, Mamoura offers a wide selection of men's and women's chapans: the traditional velvet chapan, but also striped chapans in shimmering colors. Mamoura is tough but fair in business. Hang in there and try to negotiate!
