MARE DE GOGOTA

This pond is a sacred place for the village of Gogota, located on the road between Lola and Bossou. It is populated by catfish revered by the inhabitants. To get to the pond, one must contact its keeper who lives in the village and give him the price of bread. One then goes to the edge of the pond to call the "sacred" fish, throwing them a few pieces of bread and reciting the ritual invocations. Countless catfish of all sizes appear on the surface of the water, covered with water lilies.
