Things to see and do Mamou

The dam lake is a fresh water reserve that feeds the surrounding cultivated plains. It is a quiet place for a soothing stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and why not for a refreshing dip. Be careful on festival days, the young Mamounais gather there in number and the place is then much more animated. For the long term travelers, the surroundings of the dam offer an ideal space to install the bivouac of one evening and continue their road. Mamou being a crossroads, all the directions are then possible.
