Polana Szymoszkowa is a ski resort in Zakopane. It also offers a geothermal thermal bath. The resort is ideally located just 1.5 km from the famous Krupówki street, allowing easy access from any accommodation. Ample free parking is available at the foot of the ski slopes, and public transport is also convenient. From Polana Szymoszkowa, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Tatra panorama, with the majestic Giewont as a backdrop, as well as of the whole of Zakopane, particularly visible from the cable car, which is also accessible in summer. To get there by car, you can take the Zakopianka (route 47) or route 958 towards Zakopane. The resort is also accessible by plane, train or bus.

Just 20 km from Zakopane, Białka Tatrzańska is the direct competitor of its ski resort. It boasts a large 40 km ski area with ski resorts, including the Bachledka resort in the Slovak locality of Ždiar, which can be accessed with a single ski pass. At the foot of the Bania Ski & Fun resort is the Terma Bania spa complex (www.termabania.pl). A very good alternative option for skiers, and perhaps a little more sporty than Zakopane, it has to be said.
