LAC DE KRYSPINÓW

The Kryspinów Lake, halfway between the John Paul II airport in Balice and the green shores of the Tyniec Monastery, is one of the great destinations for Kraków residents during the summer months. The program includes a long sandy beach in the middle of a sparse pine forest (a landscape very similar to the pine forests of the Riviera), swimming in the lake and a lot of water activities, from paddle to pedal boats. For a perfect afternoon, go by bike and make a detour to Tyniec on the way back (of course, the weather has to be nice).
