The Polski Hotel has a long history and is certainly one of the oldest establishments in the city. In the 19th century, an inn called "Under the White Eagle" was located here, which was bought by Prince Adam Czartoryski - the family behind the superb collection in the adjacent museum - and became the Hotel Polski.
