This quiet district of Gdańsk, 6 km northwest of the center and bordering the city on the road to Sopot, emerges at the foot of the Pochołek hill. It's famous for its magnificent park, home to a veritable jewel of religious art: a very old Cistercian abbey (traces of a Romanesque church have even been found here), with a beautiful Gothic church, masterpieces of religious architecture. Today, you can see some of the town's museums, as well as the beautiful remains of old manors, houses and churches. You can also enjoy the Oliwa Forest Park and watch this student district come alive as evening approaches.
