NATIONAL MUSEUM

The National Museum in Poznań, commonly abbreviated as MNP, is one of the largest museums in Poland and among the best art museums in the country. It houses a rich collection of paintings that is divided into 4 galleries: Polish art, foreign art, posters and design, and then contemporary art. It has a collection of paintings by Polish and Flemish masters, as well as some Italian paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries. Most of the other museums in the city are in fact its annexes and share its opening hours.
