A few years ago, the city's former factories, which were part of the Poznański Palace, were falling into ruin, leaving a derelict district worthy of the greatest post-apocalyptic scenes. At the turn of the 2000s, following the example of the industrial cities of northern Europe, the Łódź town council had the idea (and above all the means, thanks to European funds) to renovate and reconvert these buildings into a gigantic cultural, commercial and leisure complex. A sort of brand-new mini-city opened its doors in 2006. It was an immediate success: the district became the Łódziens' favorite place to spend all their weekends. The high concentration of services and activities has greatly contributed to its popularity (even if it means stealing some of Piotrkowska's thunder). The remarkable reconstruction of the building complex is well worth a visit. The Poznański Palace and other museums are also worth a visit. The postmodern atmosphere, with chic stores and cafés in an industrial setting, is very successful, even if commercialism dominates. In fact, clubs, cafés, bars, restaurants, leisure centers (climbing, arcade, dance hall, multiplex cinema) and boutiques triumph here.
All in all, Manufaktura is a must-see when discovering the city. You can also shop at the large Auchan supermarket. Concerts, markets and festivals of all kinds are held outdoors during the summer.

Sur place, il y a un service de location qui permet aux visiteurs de profiter des attractions, qui n'ont pas leurs patins. La location de patins avec un billet d'entrée coûtera 10 PLN. Ceux qui ont leurs patins paieront 6 PLN.
Bientôt, il sera possible d'aiguiser les patins sur place.
