Corquín («Junta de Aguas» in the lenca dialect or «Crossing of the waters», two rivers uniting into the community) is a pleasant colonial village, beautiful paved main street and any new central park (under construction during our passage). Rich coffee producers live on the ground, which is what certain houses of character do not hide. Not much to do, apart walking in the streets where the philosophical breeze of history is blowing, but there are possibilities for very interesting discoveries in the surroundings (waterfalls, pine forests, welcoming people). A curious dive in a Lenca Honduras shooter with features… Palestinian and Swiss. We wonder about brown hair, clear eyes, high statures, pretty girls, some of them with arabiques faces… anyway, don't hesitate to stop eating in the restaurant and to walk for a moment without hurry. To get there, a fairly regular bus all day from Santa Rosa.
