This village, whose name as lenca means "scorpions of scorpions", is located at 840 m above sea level in a pine forest and cedar forest. You can visit a beautiful natural site, El Llano del Muerto, a large meadow where pines «set up their altières peaks» (as the other). You can stay in the tourist centre of the same name after a good day of walking.Cerro El Pericón is located 3 km north of Arambala, at 1 379 m above sea level. It is possible to descend the Sapo río into kayak.
