Artisanal lobster fishing, horseback riding, snorkeling, nearby nature reserves, discovering the daily life of a small fishing village 100% authentic... the Miskito village of Sandy Bay is a good choice for discovering the region in greater depth, and for disconnecting. To get there, take a group boat; they leave every day from the Bluefields pier. Allow 3 hours for the trip. There are a number of low-cost accommodation options on site.
