A must at El Castillo is a visit to the Tángara chocolate factory, which produces bean-to-bar chocolate. They work directly with cocoa beans, some of which are grown on their own finca, while others are purchased from the Coodeprosa cooperative, one of the most renowned in El Castillo. They then process the beans into a range of delicious products: chocolate bars, of course, but also ice creams and delicious hot chocolate. David knows all there is to know about chocolate, and will make you feel right at home. Excellent!
