MORGAN’S ROCK HACIENDA & ECOLODGE
15 luxurious wooden bungalows nestle on a wooded hillside sloping down to the sea. At dawn, the chirping of howler monkeys resounds, while a light sea breeze caresses the palm roof of the hotel reception. In front of you, the most beautiful of televisions broadcasts an infinite wave, rolling and soothing... Welcome to paradise! The property features an infinity pool, bar and restaurant orchestrated by chef Dannys Morala.
The bungalows, featuring terraces and suspended beds for a unique sensory experience, are beautifully equipped. They are designed and built with precious tropical essences such as cedar, eucalyptus, laurel, mahogany, almendro, guapinol and nodal, sourced from the 1,800-hectare property! In 2017, the resort added 5 bungalows with pools (without ocean views in this case) as well as new villas emerging from the forest. The latter are ideal for 4 people, with a private pool and incredible terrace.
The property offers access to a pristine white sand beach, where sea turtles come to lay their eggs. On the beach, a new spa with two on-site therapists, a yoga platform, hammocks to relax in, and a beach bar for refreshments have been added. The welcome is warm, and you have the option of participating in excursions in and around the property, as well as scheduling a breakfast at the estate's farm.
Morgan's Rock Hacienda & Ecolodge is more than just a luxury hotel; it embodies a unique concept. It represents a project of nature conservation, community development and reforestation, aiming to be a model of ecotourism. The project is run by the Ponçon family, charming French expatriates in Nicaragua. The property's natural setting has even won over the scarlet macaws, normally fearful and wary of humans, who have taken up residence here. You can observe them in complete freedom, adding an unforgettable touch of luxury and beauty to your stay.
