This museum brings together the Gregorian excavated idols in the region, more specifically in the valley of Del and Garrobo Grande, near the Río Mico: monstres stone monsters, sometimes of a totem form more than 4 m high. Idols are dated between 800 and 1200 of our age. The most famous is "La Chinita" or "Mona Lisa de Chontales", which was exhibited at the Louvre in Paris not so long ago. This collection is visible from the street. There is also a beautiful goldsmith, a superb metate (for corn rides) 87 cm long, ocarinas (flutes), polished stone and jade objects and ossements of prehistoric mastodons. One of the most important pieces is a polished green stone axe.
