TOBACCO FACTORIES

Possibility to visit Cuban cigar factories to see the entire manufacturing process, the sheets of tobacco up to the beautiful cigar boxes. One of the largest factories is Cubanica, employing nearly 380 people (650 with the gatherers in tobacco fields). There are more than 40 cigars in Esteli (official and official). All the major factories are part of the free zones, and they are intensive productions. Cigars are sold at the same price as in Europe (export price). To visit one you will need to book ahead or be customer - it is not so simple.
