It is nice to dwell on the central square Máximo Jerez Tellería (the name of an illustrious liberal liberal, 1815-1881), in the shade of trees, and to watch people pass. The marble statue of the famous Jerez was offered by Marco Aurelio Soto, then President of Honduras; the four iron lions that keep it are present from Justo Rufino Barrios, then President of Guatemala. Beautiful colonial structures display their épuisée or glittering façades in the vicinity.

Place verdoyante pour une bonne pause à l'ombre. Animations assurées : camelots, bars, petits restaus aux alentours, familles en fin d'après-midi, ... au coeur de la ville.
