Located in Sutiava, in the former Casa Curral, a superb colonial house built in 1752, the museum was inaugurated in April 2003. On display are icons that adorned the churches of the native district in the 15th and 16th centuries; a gilded wooden altar in the Baroque style; two wooden altarpieces, also in the Baroque style; carved pillars; chalices, vases, silver and gold objects; various representations of Christ; and an old confessional belonging to the church of San Juan Bautista de Sutiaba, as well as baptism and death books.
