IGLESIA EL CALVARIO

Built in 1810, it is located at the end of Rubén Darío Street, east of the central market. Its advantageous situation draws attention. Sculptures inside are of mixed realism, which is rather unusual for colonial art (usually affected). Note that the facade would demonstrate French influence in colonial Hispanic architecture of the th century.
