HOSTAL EL ALBERGUE

Fran, the owner and manager of the site, is from Leon. He opened this small 5-room hostal in 2004. He has been working for several years in local development, and is part of the management committee of the NGO Quetzaltrekkers. He knows his country well and shares his advice with pleasure. It has its own travel agency Loro Trips. The place is very colourful; wall frescoes and a large toronja (tree with beautiful roots) adorn its small inner courtyard. Fran has created the hostal as a place to meet and share Nicaraguan culture.
